A Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k was used for this. After automating the capture with Film-Digital's software script, we post-processed some sequences with Topaz Video AI. Mainly the stabilization and the "liquefaction" of the movements convinced us. Also the re-sharpening succeeded and some impurities and scratches could be restored well. For each scene, this tool was not suitable (for example, with counter-rotating movements), but for others we were able to get a lot out of it. We have marked the scenes processed with Topaz in the green "Topaz Video AI" rectangle in the lower left corner. This is sample, made with FILM-DIGITAL transfer kit 1015 (https://www.film-digital.com) and the new Panasonic Lumix GH6. Settings: Projector = 18 fps Camera = Creative Video Mode / mov / 4k / 4:2:2 / 10 bit / 50p / Shuttertime 54 ("Synchro Scan") / 250 ISO / WB "sun" Photo Style-Presets: "Standard" / "V-Log" / "Flat" V-Log is recommended for post production (GH6 includes the first full V-Log in Lumix GH series), Flat is recommended for Super 8 transfer without post production. High Dynamic Boost mode can be used to increase the dynamic range, but it requires at least 800 ISO, so we decided to do the transfer without High Dynamic Boost and with different Photo Style-Presets instead.
